Invitation...Sleep Medicine Club

Dear colleagues,
It is our pleasure to announce the launching of the "Sleep Medicine Club" (SMC) in Jeddah, under the umbrella of the Saudi Society of Internal Medicine (SSIM). This scientific club aims at increasing awareness of sleep disorders among health care workers to help facilitate early recognition, referral and treatment of sleep problems. SMC activities will include monthly meetings (every first Sundays of the month) as well as awareness activities for technicians, students, nurses, respiratory therapists, physicians and the public.

The SMC is chaired by Dr. Siraj Wali, Secretary General of SSIM, Associate Professor of Medicine and Consultant in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine, Director of Sleep Medicine and Research Center, King Abdulaziz University – Jeddah, and coordinated by Dr. Ayman Krayem, Consultant in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine, Supervisor, Sleep Disorders Center, King Abdulaziz Medical City – Jeddah. The contribution and attendance of all health care workers are highly appreciated and welcomed.
